Dr. Hwang earned her Bachelor of Science in microbiology and molecular genetics at UCLA and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at UCSF. She later returned to UCLA for her orthodontics residency. Born in Taiwan and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dr. Hwang brings a global perspective to her practice. She has traveled extensively across Asia, Europe, and Central America, including lecturing for the Guatemalan Association of Orthodontists and students in Taiwan and Shanghai.
Now settled in Arcadia, Dr. Hwang is a proud mother of two energetic children. She enjoys balancing family life with her career, prioritizing exercise, and immersing herself in diverse cuisines and cultures.
